Best Consultancy is proud to be working with a high-profile retail client, with a UK wide branch network in their search for a skilled Manager to join their London operations.

Their teams are made up of people with a real passion for providing exceptional customer service; who work hard to develop outstanding product knowledge and jewellery expertise that they can share with their customers.

The Role:

Branch Managers play a key role within the business, working as part of a team to deliver outstanding results and contribute to the overall success of the stores.

As Branch Manager, you’ll provide a positive customer experience that sets the store apart from their competitors. You’ll need to be able to understand your customers’ needs, and confidently explain options available, while upselling other relevant products and services. You’ll carry out the evaluation of jewellery and arrange pawnbroking or gold buying services. Working with your team, you’ll implement effective marketing plans and local activities to drive sales and footfall.

You will be responsible for the branch P&L and manage internal audit checks, as well as the overall organisation of the premises, stock, safety, business results and regulatory compliance requirements.

About you:

You will have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and an ability to build rapport with a diverse range of customers, as well as actively build relationships within the team. You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Leadership qualities and ability to set a clear direction
  • Excellent literacy, numeracy & IT capability
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Flair for visual merchandising
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members
  • Time management and delegation skills
  • Good understanding of P&L
  • A motivated and confident attitude

You should also have a proven background in retail, customer service and cash handling within a management capacity as well as the experience of working within the jewellery or pawnbroking industry would be an advantage.

This role requires candidates to undergo CRB, financial and background checking prior to commencing employment.
