Mitel 3300 Technical Support Engineer


Location: Reigate

Salary: £35,000-45,000 p.a. DOE

Hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm

We are recruiting for a leading business in Reigate who are looking for experienced Mitel engineers who are interested in joining their ever-expanding team.

Duties and responsibilities for the Mitel 3300 Technical Support Engineer

  • Installation, programming & commissioning of enterprise solutions.
  • Working with the client, projects and pre-sales teams and effective liaison with any 3rd parties.
  • Liaison with other departments within the company. You should have the ability to understand the points of view of other departments and put your own point of view across clearly. You should also be good at keeping other departments in the picture and flagging up potential problems.
  • Providing timely updates on your work and reporting back to management.
  • Working to deadlines and service level agreements.
Essential skills & experience required for the Mitel 3300 Technical Support Engineer

  • Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years industry experience.
  • Be PABX and Network Hardware/Software Applications trained.
  • IT Microsoft office proficient and PC literate.
  • Experience of carrying out IP-based installations.
  • Understanding of LAN/ WAN/SIP Fundamentals - CCNA or CTP level (preferred).
  • Possess an excellent thorough fault process mentality to correctly evaluate calls.
  • Be self-reliant on your own technical abilities and knowledge.
  • Experience of managing escalations, working closely with manufacturers to achieve a successful resolution.
  • Able to demonstrate focused customer care skills, both on site and remotely.
  • Have clear direction setting and a methodical work ethic.
  • Be well presented.
  • Have good proactive problem solving skills.
  • Must have strong, professional communication skills to communicate verbally/in writing.
Personal skills required for the Mitel 3300 Technical Support Engineer

Well-organised and strong on follow up.

  • MiVB (3300) (MCP or MCS Level ideal)
  • MiCollab (MCP or MCS Level ideal)
  • MiCCM (MCP or MCS Level ideal)
  • SIP & IP Routing knowledge
  • MiCloud Experience (UCaaS)
  • VMWare/VSphere experience HP or Cisco routers & switches knowledge
  • LAN & WAN Fundamentals & Networking Experience
