SYK Recruitment Specialists are currently looking to recruit an experienced Care Home Deputy Manager to work in an award-winning Essex care home.

The CQC rated “good" home, located near Brentwood offers hotel style living and a fantastic environment, with specialist design features throughout to support those with dementia or problems getting around.

The role will involve providing effective clinical leadership and direction to the care and nursing teams, managing and monitoring care and ensuring high standards are maintained in all areas of the home. You will work closely with the Registered Home Manager to coordinate the day to day clinical and operational management of the home.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

Qualified Adult Nurse/RGN or Mental Health Nurse/RMN
Experienced as a Deputy Manager or equivalent in a large UK nursing home, with a proven track record of success
Possess good working knowledge of CQC essential standards and their practical implementation
Demonstrate effective leadership skills in addition to strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passionate about high quality care and making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable adults

This is a full-time position with a 40-hour working week on day shifts. Some weekends will be required for quality monitoring/assurance purposes.

The home is offering a fantastic annual salary of £45,000 in addition to a fantastic working environment and excellent company benefits and perks.
