Wealth Management/IFA Administrator

Our client is a well established, very friendly, boutique Wealth Management IFA practice, based in lovely offices in Cambridge. Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking to appoint an Administrator, to assist the 2 Partners/Advisers & other team members.

Key skills & experience required:

• previous similar experience in a Financial Services environment e.g. Life office/product provider, IFA practice
• an understanding of the FCA regulatory requirements e.g. Money Laundering, TCF etc.
• be familiar with Data Protection rules
• a reasonable general knowledge of investments, pensions & protection products
• experience of working with Wrap platform(s)
• experience of using back-office systems
• a flexible, positive attitude
• good written & oral communication skill

Key responsibilities

• Action post items
• Issue Letters of Authority to clients & product providers
• Set up manual client files
• Input new clients on to the back office system (Durell)
• Update clients’ details on Durell
• Ensure T&C’s, Attitude Toward Risk etc. recorded on files
• Assist Partners &Practice Manager with administering business operations
• Review and enhance written office procedures
• Review & write meeting Agendas & templated documents for easier operation of business
• Prepare Verification of Identity forms for signature
• Obtain policy valuations
• Prepare meeting summaries
• Obtain illustrations, KFDs and application forms from product providers
• Check client file documentation is compliant
• Process new business applications, including setting up Platform transactions
• Check and issue policy documentation to clients

Salary & benefits:

• Salary up to £28K, according to experience & qualifications
