Successful applicants will have excellent communication skills and be responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of personalised care plans, to ensure high quality care is given. Also provide a high standard of general nursing care to all your patients ensuring that patients are treated with dignity and respect while promoting a safe environment within the unit.You will be required to work flexibly on an internal rotation, which will include working days and nights over the seven days. In return you will receive enhanced payments for weekend work, a generous holiday entitlement and pension scheme. A relocation package is also available.Transferable clinical skills will be supported with training packages and We will also be able to offer a period of induction/orientation tailored to your needs. Somerset Partnership also run a great Preceptorship programmed for newly qualified staff.If you are looking to relocate, West Mendip Community Hospital is on the outskirts of Glastonbury, a historic market town with an eclectic mix of shops and places of interest. The towns of Glastonbury, Shepton Mallet, Frome, Wells and Street are in the Mendip area. There are good shopping places as well as a café culture which attracts many visitors all year around.We also provide free on-site staff parking.
