Due to expansion this is an exciting time for a Fire service engineer to join a huge international company with multi million pound projects across the world in the Built Environment.

The successfully Fire Alarm Service Engineer will carry out regular servicing, reactive maintenance and commissioning of various Fire detection & Fire alarm systems, Emergency lighting and other associated systems along with completing and submitting all relevant documentation. Ensuring up to date knowledge of, and compliance with, all relevant British Standards is essential.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Fire Service Engineer Includes

  • Working with planning team and the fire service engineer line manager ensuring jobs are prioritised correctly complying with company procedures and policies as well as the health and safety regulations.
  • Maintaining and demonstrating working knowledge of simple circuits and measuring devices and undertaking training where necessary
  • Regular routine servicing and reactive maintenance of various Fire detection & Fire alarm systems, Emergency lighting and other associated systems
With relevant training, commission of various Fire detection & Fire alarm systems.Ensuring that systems are properly installed, tested, and commissioned
Correctly complete Engineer work reports, handover certificates or checklist as appropriate and update asset lists.
  • Being responsible for on site compliance regarding technical ability and to manage compliance with quality standards & regulations.
  • Undertake On-Call' duties as part of your Area Team.
  • To act as a Company Ambassador. A smart appearance, pleasant attitude, and the ability of communicating diplomatically to strengthen customer relationships.
  • Ensuring that customers receive appropriate and adequate training and maximise customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain an accurate and high standard of Customer, Company and Personal paperwork.
  • Flexible Working Hours.
  • Any other duties commensurate with the role
