Our client, a worldwide insurance, savings and investment company based in central London are seeking a Personal Assistant to join their team.

The role is a three month full-time role paying £18/hr with the role starting as soon as standard vetting checks are completed.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support the Chief Accounting Officer, in a time of considerable change and innovation for the Finance function globally.
The role will provide PA support principally to the CAO and indirectly to the wider team.

The role incumbent will principally be responsible for supporting and managing the effective execution of the CAO's accountabilities while ensuring discretion and confidentiality is maintained at all times

Significant experience of working in a large and complex corporate office environment and experience supporting leaders in a PA/Secretarial/Administrative role is desired

Duties & Responsibilities:

Maintain the schedules of the CAO, meeting invites, agendas and follow up on any meeting actions.

Management of the CAO's diary, including organisation of travel arrangements as appropriate.

Produce presentations and reports on behalf of the CAO as required.

Drive and action items on behalf of the CAO

Work with the business to gather insights and analysis on topics/subjects requiring the attention of the CAO.

Demonstrate an understanding of the priorities with the minimum of guidance and be proactive to ensure the efficient running of the office.

Organise meetings and conferences and liaise with conference organisers to ensure logistics, visuals and documentation are completed to deadline and to a high standard as required

Agreeing to, and managing a budget as cost centre controller.

Review and monitor progress of required information requested of others ensuring delivery within stated timeframe.


Desirable Skills, Behaviours and Capabilities:

Significant previous experience as a PA with experience at a senior level, preferably within a large complex, financial services organisation.

Effective planning and ability to multi-task and prioritise own workload.

Capable of working alone and using own judgement and initiative to take appropriate action.

High standard of accuracy and ability to meet constant deadlines

Excellent influencing, interpersonal and communication skills. Able to work with ease and confidence with senior Executives and all other levels, internally and externally.

High degree of discretion and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive information.

Flexibility to work the hours the role demands. Results oriented.

Confident user of Microsoft Office (PP, Excel, Word)
