As part of the Purchase Ledger Team, this role is to provide support and assistance in the daily input of transactions. You will be responsible for the inputting of purchase invoices, statement reconciliation and general postings, analysis and administration for suppliers. This role will require someone with purchase ledge experience. This role is 30 hours per week (flexible)

Key resposibilites:

Work closely with other members of the Finance team to ensure an efficient and professional serviceAssist with other duties or administrative requirements during periods of staff absence due to any reason including sickness and holidaysUndertake ad hoc tasks as required from time to time to assist in the general running of the departmentAssist with documentation related to Purchase LedgerDemonstrate the Company Values in everything you doRespect all colleagues and customers, being polite and courteous at all timesA motivated attitude towards continuous improvementTake responsibility for the inputting of purchase invoices on a daily basisEnsure statements are reconciledMaintain supplier details including accurate contact details, bank account details and terms.Ensure organised filing systems are maintained to allow swift retrieval of information and documents.Assist in the maintenance of the ledgerHelp in producing weekly and monthly purchase ledger reportsUse all internal systems and computer programmes accurately and where necessary in order to ensure efficiency.Supports continual improvement within their own departmentAppreciates the value of relationships with all business partners, and always considers these when planning their actions and approachWorks to deliver "outstanding service" in line with role requirements and customer expectationsPersonal Qualities:
