Are you a Senior Paraplanner with current experience in a similar role. You will have your RQF level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning and have investment committee and portfolio asset allocation and find analysis experience. This role is joining a professional team of qualified Financial Advisors and will be based at their Head Office in Maidstone.

Main Duties:

Good technical knowledge of pensions and investments and be ethical and trustworthy providing vital support to advisers which includes researching of products and providing of compliant suitability reports

  • Be a member of our Investment Committee, working closely with our Investment Director and Committee members in providing data and analysis for review and discussion at quarterly meetings
  • Implement any changes agreed to our portfolios following the Investment Committee quarterly meetings
  • Preparation of client files for meetings
  • Provide the backup to enable advisers to concentrate on fact-finding, client reviews and relationship management
  • Ensure that internal and external compliance regulations are met in all aspects of work that is carried out
  • Provide an illustration service for all advisers
  • Ensure all correspondence leaving the department is checked for errors and is at the highest standard
  • Ensure industry knowledge is kept updated

Qualities Required:

  • Due to the nature of this role we will only consider candidates with present active paraplanning skills and experience
  • Hold the Diploma in Financial Planning
  • Advanced investment qualifications would be desirable
  • Investment committee and portfolio asset allocation and fund analysis experience
  • This is an extremely varied role and would suit someone who is dynamic, self motivated and extremely well organised
  • Compliance and regulatory awareness
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good Communication skills
  • Sound Industry knowledge
  • Effective administration skills
  • Ability to take initiative, problem solve and develop solutions
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Intelligent Office software

Remuneration & Benefits:

The office hours are 9am to 5pm (including one hour for lunch)

  • Employers matched pension contribution of up to 5% of salary upon successful completion of probationary period
