There's no one quite like Kerry Foods. We've grown from a small farmers' collective to a multi-billion food business - keeping hold of our ethics, spirit and character all the way. Today, we stand as a
leader in a competitive and ever-changing global market. We're aiming to pioneer new ways to delight the tastes of tomorrow, so we know that we can never stand still. Luckily, standing still has never been our way. We are looking for a Head Office Accountant to join our incredible Finance team in Egham, Surrey. Joining Kerry Foods means becoming part of this incredible story - and helping to write the next chapter. Your reward? Well further career development for you in future too!

Scope of the Role

So what does the role involve? The role of Head Office Accountant produces monthly and full year office accounts to a high level of accuracy with a high sense of financial control. Working closely with our head office functions you will provide cost centre owners with insight to aid business decisions, working on projects like budgets and projections. You will also get involved in project work and continuous improvement activity.

Who are we looking for?

Well at Kerry we look for people that really embrace our values and culture. Of course we need you to have the skills to do your job as well but we will support and encourage you to continue your personal and professional development during your career with us.

For this role we are ideally looking for you to be a qualified accountant (we are flexible if you have CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualifications) and have experience in a financial, head office based role previously. You should have experience in month end process and balance sheet reconcilliations and ideally you will have experience in SAP. You should be able to demonstrate drive and determination and a continuous improvement mindset.

It goes without saying that strong interpersonal and relationship building skills go a long way in our business so you'll need to demonstrate this through our process. If you've got experience in an FMCG or manufacturing business - great - but you have to understand commercial finance and be a real team player. You should also be able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiently.

Sounds great right?!

Joining us means working in a fast, agile and ambitious environment, with talented people who really care about what they do. We're hungry for new ideas, so we'll always listen to yours. And because we're always looking to the future, you'll find plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.
