Page Personnel are currently recruiting an interim Cost Accountant position for a fixed period of 8 months with one of Hull's largest manufacturing companies. This role offers an immediate start and the opportunity to work in a busy finance department taking responsibility of costing all new material products.

Description

As the Cost Accountant you will be reporting into the Commercial Accountant, your duties will include, however are not limited to: Assisting with the month end management accounts, Provide Customer Pricing to Commercial Teams, Attend Project meetings, Complete Product reviews, Ensure accurate Product Costing, Understand and report Manufacturing Variances, Responsibility of Costing Projects, Analysing Material Data for all new Company Products and a variety of other duties as and when required.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Be studying towards an accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA)
• Have worked in a finance function previously
• Have an understanding of product costing
• Have strong commercial acumen
• Be immediately available or on a 1 week notice period

Job Offer

Salary up to £35,000 per annum equivalent + immediate start available + 8 month Fixed Term Contract + flexible working hours + free car parking available + opportunity to join a busy finance team
