Finance Analyst / Business Partner - Based in Crick (Junction 18 of the M1) Plumbing and Heating Division.

Travis Perkins are currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst / Business Partner within our Plumbing and Heating Division. We are looking for an ambitious Part Qualified Finance Analyst / Business Partner to provide support to the Operations Finance Manager in providing and challenge to the Operations team through provision of business insight, KPI analysis to allow the operators to maximise opportunities, and mitigate business risk in an ever changing trading environment.

Principle Accountabilities

Review and challenge the cost base of the branchesCarry out investment appraisal for new initiatives ready for review by the Operations Finance ManagerSupport the financial planning (budgeting and forecasting) processes calculating and inputting information into core systemsIdentify operational finance compliance issues and provide corrective recommendationsWork with the management accounting team to ensure costs are apportioned to branches in line with budgeting methodologyBe a key contact between the Operations and Finance team to ensure business priorities are understood and Finance support and challenge during this processProvide key variance analysis by branch to understand the performance across the branch estate networkIt would be great if you had…
  • To be considered, you will be Part qualified in an accountancy qualification, or a minimum of 1 year in a finance role.
  • You’ll hold experience of working with non-finance stakeholders.
  • Advanced excel skills and the ability to interpret data into action orientated insight.
  • You will have the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
