My client is looking to recruit an E-commerce Merchandising and Operations Manager to work with the merchandiser team as well as the media and content team.
You will report to the head of E-commerce.
Key Responsibilities:
· Liaise with commercial team to create seasonal category plans and develop online range
· Liaise with the ecommerce commercial team to merchandise the automated feed range of AAT products e.g. RKW
· Liaise with commercial, marketing and production teams to co-ordinate business event support, new product launches and website content
· Implement the optimisation roadmap utilising the MVT tool to optimise customer journeys and real estate
· Use Rich Relevance placements to best manage additional up sell & cross sell sales and merchandising opportunities
· Work closely with other web team leaders to develop web assets to best support TV activity as well as maximising non- TV product
· Ensure that all products are correctly merchandised, optimised and promoted effectively across the site, mobile and via e-marketing channels to maximise opportunity
· Ensure navigation is optimised and intuitive by monitoring customer journeys and site metrics
· Utilise the regular reports generated to assess opportunities and issues across key site KPIs
· Manage & inspire the merchandiser team and aid development in both job competencies & personal development
You will need to be:
· Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
· Proactive and able to work on own initiative
· Excellent communicator, able to work in a confidential manner
· Ability to identify commercial opportunities from reported data
· An understanding of the online marketplace and retail trends
· Ability to think commercially about a wide range of products whilst putting the customer at the forefront of all decisions
· Commercial acumen with a passion for internet retail
· Confident with data analysis and excel
Knowledge & Experience:
· Experience of using web analytics packages
· Experience of using onsite search and merchandising tools
· Previous experience of working in an Ecommerce retail environment
· An understanding of PPC, affiliates, social and other marketing channels
· An understanding of MVT
