Up to £69,000 salary + market leading package (up to £88,000 with package)

This company operates a demand and supply model, where project requirements are clearly communicated from the business. You will work alongside the PMO and Portfolio function to build resource plans and the capability to deliver against these requirements. You will need to leverage your experience to identify the balance required between formal project management approaches, effective project governance and excessive adherence to formal principles. You will be using project management processes as an enabler that is a benefit to Project Managers and all their stakeholders.

Crucially you will also be responsible for a permanent project management team, sourcing interim project managers and nurturing interdependent relationships with Service Providers. You will be instrumental in identifying and establishing new partnerships with third party suppliers, enabling the business to flex up and down to meet demand.

Summary of key responsibilities;
- Programme Resource Planning
- Development of Project Management skill sets within the business.
- Creating a culture of continuous improvement
- Management of Permanent Project Management team and sourcing contract project management
- Enhancement and development of project management toolkit
- Developing relationships with Service Providers.

You will ideally have experience working in a regulated environment and an international business. You will also have;
- Experience with both IT and Business Change Projects / Programmes
- Extensive experience in resource planning
- Experience hiring, managing and developing Project Managers
- Existing relationships with global vendors / service providers
