Data Protection Associate – Financial Services

A tier one Asset Manager is looking for a Data Protection Assoicate to work alongside the Privacy Office and the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) programme team. The role will involve looking at Data Privacy frameworks, Conducting Privacy Impact Assessments and advising on changes in GDPR Policy and Data Protection principles.

The candidate must have worked within Data Privacy for a number of years and have subject matter expertise around data privacy and data protection experience. Working knowledge and exposure to Privacy by design, data incident management and breach reporting would also be beneficial.

The candidate must have;

* Extensive experience in Data Privacy and Data Protection
* Solid understand on privacy laws and guidelines
* Knowledge of how to conduct a Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA)
* Privacy by design, data incident management and breach reporting
* Previous GDPR experience would be beneficial but Data Privacy experience is imperative
* Financial services experience or professional services
* An understanding of E-privacy Laws is beneficial
* Ability to manage senior stakeholders and possess strong communication skills

Data Protection Qualifications and Industry group memberships would be an advantage (CIPP, CIPD, IAPP etc)

The role is paying up to £530 per day and will be a 6 month rolling contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work for an international organisation and gain great exposure on data privacy regulations.
