Our lovely client based in Yeovil is currently seeking a Finance Assistant to work in their successful team

Level & Experience

• Basic / Intermediate knowledge of Accounting
• Experience of working in a finance team
• Knowledge of solicitors accounts helpful but not essential
• Preferably working towards AAT, but this is not essential
• Good keyboard skills and ability to key to a high standard of speed and accuracy

The Work

This position is a hands on, key role in the finance team providing day to day support to fee earners as part of the team:

Day to day tasks will include:

• Processing Residential & Commercial Conveyancing completions
• Process Electronic Bank payments (incoming and outgoing)
• Inputting data onto accounts system
• Assisting with the daily credit card payments
• Dealing with queries
• General administration and filing of own work.

• Flexibility and ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
• Show a tenacity and determination to accomplish tasks within deadlines
• Thorough, accurate and numerate with financial data
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

IT Software used

• Law Soft
• Online Bank system
• Main Microsoft programs - Word, outlook, excel, etc
