We are seeking two handlers to join the Defence Team within our Strata Branch, working on the capture team:

The Capture piece is the next step in the process, so that involves the handler reviewing the FNOL, making a decision that the client is wholly liable for the incident and then contacting the third party to offer our services to assist with repair and/or replacement hire provision and then managing the case from that point which evolves into the full handling role.

Duties:

1. Assessing liability and setting and maintaining reserves in accordance with client service level agreements and client “key performance indicators”.
2. Investigation of merits of third party claim.
3. Telephone and correspondence negotiation with third parties, third party insurers and third party representatives to agree settlement in the quickest possible time.
4. Capture of third party hire and repair.
5. Instruction of own repair, hire provision, loss adjusting and investigation support partners.
6. On all own handled claims ensure full compliance with all office protocols, client service level agreements and client “key performance indicators”.
7. Achieving on all own handled claims 100% data integrity compliance on the office case management system.
8. Working within and supporting the team to achieve and maintain full compliance with all office protocols, client service level agreements and client “key performance indicators”.
9. Instructing and liaising with client panel solicitors on litigated claims.
10. Delegation and supervision of appropriate tasks to the Claims Administration Assistants.
11. Full compliance on all financial transactions with the client service level agreements and client “key performance indicators” and The Solicitors Accounts Rules.

The ideal candidate will be / have:

Experience of working with SLA's / KPI's
Excellent time-keeping skills
Flexible attitude and the ability to work within a changing environment
Motivated
The ability to communicate well within your team and to senior members of staff
Attention to detail
Able to work under pressure
