We are now seeking an experienced Fire Systems (Detection & Alarm) Service Engineer to work for our Thames Valley Branch, operating across Basingstoke and Guildford.

The role will entail carrying out routine servicing, testing, inspection, repairs and installations of Fire Detection, Fire Alarm and associated equipment and products, whilst continually promoting Chubb's products and services.

You will have gained a recognised Electrical or Electronic qualification and have prior experience of the installation or service of Fire Detection & Alarm Systems/ Emergency Lighting Systems. You will need a valid full Driving Licence and as your earnings will be based on bonus payments then an aptitude for proactive customer service/ sales will be required.

As a flexible, team player, you will be able and willing to participate in out of hour's standby and call out rotas with a good level of physical fitness as manual handling and working at heights will be involved. You will also be able to demonstrate the following qualities:- commercial awareness, problem solving skills, excellent communication skills, good presentation (ensuring company vehicle and uniform are kept clean and smart in order to always promote a professional image), ability to work on own initiative and a reasonable level of written and numeric skills.

This responsible role will entail planning and organising your own work programme, completing all appropriate documentation and complying to Health, Safety & Environment processes.

With call out and bonus payments you should expect to earn c£40,000. Many of our Engineers earn in excess of these amounts due to their work input and sales achievements.
