2nd line Support Engineer
£27’000-£28’000 + £1’500 on call + Progression + Training + Holiday + Pension

The company are global business, spanning 3 continents, specialising in heat treatment solutions for various industries. Having been around for almost a century, this company have continued to grow and expand into new markets and are looking for an IT Support engineer to grow with the business.

You will be responsible for working within a small m dedicated to 2nd line support. Due to the nature of the business there will be come cross over to 3rd line and provides a great platform to learn new skills and technologies. Duties will include, supporting 3400 users, dealing with service desk escalations, occasional overseas travel, mainly remote and some face to face support, active directory, Windows Server, virtual environment, windows, network support, backups, ITIL and more.

The role:

*2nd line Support
*Some crossover into 3rd line
*Windows, Active directory, VMware, Desktops, printers, Network, backups, server, storage, ITIL
*3400 users – remote and face to face support across multiple sites
*Supporting UK and Europe
*Occasional travel (UK and Europe)
*£27’000-£28’000 + £1’500 on call + Progression + Training + Holiday + Pension

The person:

*2nd Line Support experience
*Active directory
*Windows operating systems
*Windows server
*Face to face and remote support experience
*ITIL knowledge
*knowledge of Networking (LAN, WAN, Switches)
