Our client is a successful and well respected PR agency with more than 25 years’ experience working across architecture, design, retail and culture sectors. They are currently looking for an experienced Account Manager / Senior Account Manager to oversee some of their property developer and architect clients.

Main Purpose
To work as part of a team with the Account Director and Senior Account Manager to service a range of clients under the direction of the company directors. To co-ordinate PR activities, launches, press office and event management. To promote and ensure team implements best practice in all areas of day to day account management. Role is based within the Architecture team.

Scope of Job
Press and PR
• To build positive relationships with key media, to raise the profile of clients and help achieve strategic objectives
• To competently produce press packs for client projects as required
• To effectively draft trade articles and feature pitches
• To proactively sell-in news stories, profiles and features to the media
• To carry out research and help with brainstorming for clients
• Manage all aspects of client contact specifically responsible for day to day contact
• Ensure sign off on client emails for junior member so of the team
• To ensure that clients are regularly kept updated of activities through contact reports and verbal updates. Set up and attend client meetings
• To proactively seek creative and lateral ideas for clients
• To inform wider team of press meetings in order to ensure broad spectrum of stories are presented on behalf of clients
• To constructively assist with crisis management issues that arise on behalf of a client
• Attendance at relevant trade shows, festivals, partner events
Events
• Manage all aspects of the event, including guest list, catering, team attendance, logistics, client meetings
• To attend relevant launches and networking events which often take place outside of normal office hours
• To work alongside event manager/operations manager to coordinate all elements of client launches and events as required
Strategies
• To work alongside Senior Account Manager/Account Director to devise media and campaign strategies for clients
• Managing team to proactively work towards strategy and objectives
Finance
• Awareness of day to day outgoings on the accounts
• Creating budgets and ensuring sign off from the client
• Day to day financial account management
