Currently recruiting for a SEN - Support Worker – London Borough of Haringey – £60 - £80 per day - ASAP start!

SEN Teaching Assistants must:

** SEN Support Worker required
**Have previous experience working within SEN
**Must have a current DBS Children and Adults disclosure
**Be able to travel to London Borough of Haringey and get them for 8:30am
**£60 - £80 per day - ASAP start, dependant on experience
**PECS/Makaton/Signalong/Team Teach or some form of restraint experience is preferred

The School – SEN Support Worker

The school offers a holistic approach to learning by integrating a range of creative therapies to help students who need their specialised input. It also has particular strengths in meeting speech language and communication needs allied to moderate to severe learning difficulties and autistic traits. Students have a range of educational and/or medical diagnoses.

This school has consistently high standards which is reflected in their Ofsted report. They have a brilliant team who can provide excellent training and support, regardless of whether you are employed on a temporary or permanent basis.

The Role – SEN Support Worker:

This SEN Teaching Assistant role is within a fantastic Special Needs School that I have the pleasure of working closely with. They are looking for a SEN Support Worker who has experience within the SEN sector, who can work to inspire and achieve! Experience with PMLD students would be highly desirable and training within Hoisting and Manual Handling is essential. The ideal candidate will have worked in a school with Mild to Moderate Learning Difficulties, that has a desire to work with a more complex needs SEN school.

The role would require someone to be comfortable dealing with personal care, including toileting and feeding and also with restraining students. As an SEN Support Worker you would be supporting the emotional, social and academic development of the students you work with to ensure they reach their full potential!
