You will be covering branches in the Southern Area (Bournemouth, Epsom, Guildford and Twickenham). Head office is based in St Albans so you will need to be happy to commute there on a regular basis.

The main role purpose of the Retail Area Manager is to oversee the daily running of the branches and to be the main link between branches and head office.

Your key responsibilities as a Retail Area Manager will be:

* Managing any customer queries that are raised higher than branch managers
* Ensuring the branches are efficiently staffed
* Liaising with the branch managers regarding any staff issues
* Checking the branch rotas regarding holidays and sickness
* Ensuring all staff in the branches are fully trained and well presented
* Ensuring the stores and stockrooms are clean, tidy and well merchandised
* Managing, leading and motivating the team
* Ensuring all staff have up to date knowledge of all products relating to their branches.
* Maintaining company standards
