£18,000 - £21,000 per annum + company benefits

My client is seeking an experience Accounts Assistant/Administrator to join their Head Office on a permanent basis in Egham, Surrey. This role requires a working knowledge of both the sales ledger and credit control procedures.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start their accounting/finance career; progression opportunities are available.

Your main responsibilities will be to assist with the recording and reporting of income for the management companies.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

* Post the monthly cash transactions for the petty cash through tills ensuring that reconciliations are done on a frequent basis and reviewed with Income Manager.
* Balance Sheet reconciliations regarding tills to be produced monthly and review with Income Manager
* Collate Risk information for monthly Risk Model reporting (Tills/ Stock Management & Club)
* Compiling Club/Owner and External Bacs Runs
* Raising of Sales Invoices and Credit Notes and processing these on to the accounting software
* Managing Debtors Ledger on Coins
* Making Chaps and Bacs payment transfers as and when required
* Input invoices onto the purchase ledger system
* To ensure that the administrative tasks within the department are supported
* Ensure all filing is done in a timely and accurate fashion
* Other general administrative tasks as and when required

Experience Required:

* Previous experience in a similar role
* Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
* Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
* IT literate

It is ideal for this role if you have hospitality industry experience, however this isn’t essential.
