After thorough hands‐on training, you will take over a wide range of responsibilities managing the technical support of our UK based sales forces and inside direct sales for small laser systems and optical components. The main customer base will be leading research institutes and universities.

Responsibilities:
• Providing initial consultation and evaluation in respect of incoming telephone, e-mail as well as website and social media enquiries
• Direct Inside Sales of small laser systems and optical components
• Provide technical sales support to our UK Field Sales Forces
• Dealing with public tenders
• Coordinating sales projects and after-sales customer support
• Communicating technical product solutions independently within the Company

Education and Work Experience:
• Successfully completed studies, specialising in laser applications (e.g. physics, physical chemistry, laser technology)
• Minimum of 2 years’ sales experience
• High degree of self-organisation and teamwork skills
• High degree of communicative and interpersonal skills
• Structured, pragmatic and assertive approach to work, combined with a thorough and effective way of working
• Business management knowledge advantageous and Salesforce

Opportunity to develop into a Sales manager position (after approx. two years in the sales support role)
