Growing London based US law firm is looking to recruit a new HR Manager to join the firm on an initial 4 month fixed term contract. Responsibilities will include assisting with driving the salary and bonus review process forward, preparing Business Services and Secretarial salary proposals, liaising with benefits consultants with regard to renewals and benefits queries, managing flexible working requests, managing short-term and long-term sickness absences with monthly reporting for payroll, overseeing the maternity leave process, conducting regular performance appraisals and mid-term reviews, representing the HR department at groups or committee meetings, providing advice and guidance to managers on department restructures and any other ad hoc duties as required. Applicants must have previous HR experience from within a law firm, strong benefits and employee relations experience and ideally be CIPD qualified. Candidates should also have excellent communication skills, be a real team player and have strong leadership qualities. Standard working hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm, however a flexible attitude is required as there may often be the possibility of overtime
