Sewell Wallis have an excellent Assistant Management Accountant opportunity for a large international business based in South Leeds.

This position will sit within their core finance function, so ideally they would like someone who would like to work in a fast paced and challenging environment.

Key responsibilities as Assistant Management Accountant include:

• Preparation of Cost to Serve report every month with accompanying commentary
• Preparation of Loss report every month with accompanying commentary
• Month end procedures including accruals and prepayments
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations ensuring fully reconciled and balancing items are current
• Preparation of monthly management accounts including “Policing” the accounts ensuring revenue streams and costs are correct
• Responsibility for the overall financial function of the site
• Balancing of the vendor ledger, buyer ledger on a sale by sale basis
• Cash book management and bank reconciliation ensuring all outstanding items are current
• Overseeing Management of the sundry sales ledger and credit control
• Overseeing cash office working capital function and sale balancing

Skills and Knowledge required for this role are:

Actively studying ACCA/CIMA and are looking to progress further with this
Strong excel skills (which include v-lookups and pivot tables)
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
