Client On-Boarding Assistant – Up to £22,000 – Portuguese Speaking

The Role

You will be assisting in the process of opening new accounts that are applied for by prospective clients and also assist in the opening of corporate accounts and IB accounts. You will be responsible for communicating with clients to attain missing or extra information, and if required you will do so in another language. You will make sure that security and ID checks are fulfilled in line with the company procedure and correspond with the other departments about any account queries.

Not only that, but you will be fully up to date with the FCA regulations concerning account opening and AML requirements. Also, you will update salesforce and accounts spreadsheet for every account and alongside that, you will prepare reports regarding new account status.

The business has been running for over 15 years and prides its self of servicing the new generation of traders. They specialise in the areas of Spread betting Forex Commodities and Shares. Due to growth the companies is now about to become a Banking institution and have almost gained all the required licences to do so. They’re also global business with offices in various countries and have a very diverse culture in all their offices.

The Fit

To be a suitable candidate you will have previous experience of working in a similar environment and be able to speak Portuguese fluently. Ideally you will be educated to degree level and have superb customer service skills and telephone manner.

Alongside that, you will also have a knowledge of PEP, Sanctions and AML regulations and also know of the FCA Regulations and handbook. You will also have a superb telephone manner and customer service skills as well as be able to input data onto a system.
