Amazing opportunity for a successful and established Marketing Director to join a world-class, leading events, brand and digital agency based in London.

With 4,000 employees internationally, the Marketing Director will be responsible for two company brands, covering the EMEA region.

The role:

Based out of the office in London, the Marketing Director will be responsible for managing a team of 3. They will also be responsible for:

-Development and execution of an integrated marketing and communications strategy in alignment with the global strategy;
-Working closely with the business development teams and leadership teams;
-Overseeing all aspects of marketing in EMEA for all key audience segments in concert with the Marketing Leadership Team and local leadership, including but not limited to:
Internal and external communications;
Corporate positioning strategy;
Content marketing;
Digital and Social Media marketing;
Demand/lead generation;
Public relations;
Brand experience;
Employee communication;
Product marketing;
-Working collaboratively with other marketing teams members globally, the digital products team, events team and agency teams;
-Maintaining and evolving the tools and resources available to all the sales organisations;
-Supporting the industry relations initiatives for the EMEA region througout the year to ensure projects are delivered successfully, on budget, and in accordance with intended ROI metrics.
-Developing the EMEA’s short and long-term strategy in support of corporate goals and plans.
-Supervising appropriate market research conducted to realise new product and service opportunities. Manage communication and development process through rollout to ensure appropriate external marketing and internal communication. Measure results for the business.
-Strengthening and maintaining a can-do, roll-up-your-sleeves, goal-oriented, customer-needs focused environment that stresses employee performance, teamwork, management credibility and success.
-Providing strong, proactive leadership to maintain a positive business climate, motivate employees and function as an effective advocate for change and growth.
- Overseeing database marketing services to support various sales entities within the organisation and in accordance with EU legislation around GDPR.


Ideal candidates for the Marketing Director position should have a minimum of 15 years' experience within a similar, leadership role in an agency environment. A mixture of client-side and agency side experience will also be considered.
Bachelor’s degree is required. Master's degree (M.A.) is preferred.
Corporate leadership experience as well as industry experience is preferred.
At least five (5) years of executive leadership experience required.
Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in most areas of marketing. Digital marketing and product management understanding is a must.
Excellent leader, mentor and communicator.
Excellent negotiation and budget management skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Internet applications and executive level presentations.
Knowledge of Salesforce (SFDC), working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Software applications, establishing Sharepoint sites and Webex discussions as required.
Strong written and verbal skills necessary to complete assigned tasks and excellent project management and presentation skills a must.


£70,000 - £90,000 per annum plus benefits including private healthcare, pension and more.


This role will require the Marketing Director to travel out of the London office to overseas offices from time to time, including the USA and Europe. (USA once every 6 months)
