We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to work in a team of two sharing responsibility for Purchase Ledger and Payroll.

Duties include:

* Invoice Input – accuracy more important than speed
* Matching Delivery Notes to Purchase Orders/ Hire reports
* Preparing Aged Creditors reports for use in Cashflow reporting
* Reconciling Statements and ensuring all invoices are on the ledgers by deadlines, ensuring credits are obtained for anything doesn’t match
* Handling CIS wages for Sub Contractors – all on spreadsheets and working out timesheets
* Liaising with Site teams

Skills required:

* Must be able to work with a ‘to the penny’ accuracy
* SAGE Line 50 and any experience with payroll would be highly beneficial
* Abel to work to deadlines, be friendly and personable, have a good telephone manner and not averse to making a cup of tea now and again
* A good work ethic is paramount, due to nature of the role flexibility with hours to meet deadlines is required

This is a full time permanent role. The working hours are 8.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday. The salary is negotiable dependent upon experience and expected to be circa £17-£20k.
