A Leading manufacturer of machined components using the latest machining technology to produce components to a very high standard.

We require a Manual Inspector, would also suit an Engineer who would like to move off the tools to an Inspection role, full training provided.

To carry out 1st off, in-process and final inspection of products to customer drawings using Manual Inspection measuring equipment.

Ensuring that all drawings and specifications used for inspection are at the same issue status as that stated on the route card.

Ensuring that all relative quality plan requirements stated on the route card are carried out during the inspection process.

Ensuring that, where specified, work instructions exist and they are strictly adhered to during the inspection process.

Ensuring that measuring equipment used for inspection purposes is within the specified calibration period and is clearly labelled.

Ensuring that all products received for inspection are adequately packed and protected.

Ensuring that all cleaning requirements have been carried out in accordance with the relevant specs.

Ensuring that all previous operations detailed on the route card have been satisfactorily completed with appropriate inspection approval.

Ensuring that all products conform dimensionally to the Customer in-process drawings.

Ensuring effective visual inspection of all products.

Ensuring that all functional or prescribed tests have been carried out in accordance with the route card requirements.

Ensuring the correct allocation of part marking detail, including serial numbers, is allocated to components / assemblies and that the marking is correct and legible.

Ensuring effective recording of all serial numbers relating to product identifications.

Ensuring the effective completion of Reject Reports, Concession / Production Permit applications as and when required.

Ensuring conformance to all relevant quality system procedures.

Ensuring effective liaison and presentation to all customer representatives.

Ensuring good housekeeping is maintained throughout the department.

Effectively applying the internal systems with regards to procedures for the inspection department.

Working Hours: 39 hours per week, usually 8.00am to 4.30pm Mon to Thurs, 8.00am to 3.30pm Friday
