We have a fantastic new opportunity available for a Client Manager to join our professional client based in Hastings and Uckfield. As a Client Manager, you will be based within their accounting team responsible for managing client relationships and service delivery.

This role will involve using your technical knowledge to deliver a range of accounting and technical services to clients.

Responsibilities of the role will include:

Year-end accounting, VAT, Payroll, bookkeeping and some tax work.
Overseeing the work of various accounting team members involved in the direct production of accounts, payroll etc.
Reviewing year-end and other compliance work
Delivering and explaining the accounts to the client where required
Coordinate with various departments to ensure that technical issues can be resolved for clients swiftly
Supporting and managing junior staff
Developing and improving internal processes and tools

Skills Required:

Qualified accountant or management accountant with experience working directly with clients
Advanced MS Excel experience
Experience using Iris, Xero and Sage is highly desirable but not essential
Strong communication and presenting skills

For this role, you will need to be a clear and confident communicator with the ability to manage client relationships. As a Client Manager in Accounting and Financial Management, you will need to be a qualified accountant or management accountant with ideally with experience of working with clients in a practice capacity.

This is a brilliant opportunity to work in a progressive role with the working hours of Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm. The salary is DOE between £30k-45k.
