Exciting opportunity for an Engineer to join a growing company, who believe in developing its staff.

This role would suit someone who has worked as an Engineer before but interested in moving into an office/sales based role. You will be service focused with excellent "hands on" engineering experience.

The main duties and responsibilities of the Internal Sales Engineer:
Taking phone and email enquiries from customers looking for a quote on new products or issues with owned equipment, confidently discussing and understanding products.
Regularly communicating with Head Office abroad.
Creating quotations using in house computer system, ensuring you are using the specifications required by the customer, including information gathering if needed.
Following up on quotations with customers via phone.
Fielding customer calls.
Arranging Engineer site visits if required.
Raising Purchase Orders, converting quotations to orders or adding to sales orders.
General admin duties as required by an office based role.

The ideal candidate:
Previous Engineering experience.
Energetic, results driven person.

Sales experience isn't essential as full sales training can be provided. This role would suit a candidate that is out-going, loves dealing with people and enjoys a challenge.

Salary and Benefits:
£25,000-£27,500pa depending on experience.
20 days annual leave + BH, raising by a day every year for 6 years.
6% contributory pension.
Profit related bonuses.
