Accounts Assistant
Permanent position with 6 months’ probation period.
Based: Addlestonemoor, Surrey.
£18,000.00 - £22,000.00PA or pro rata for part time per year depending on experience.
Full Time and Part time positions

ABOUT US:
A highly successful facilities company, based in Addlestonemoor, Surrey.

THE ROLE:
You will be reporting directly to the Office Manager and working closely with Sales staff and the Director, all of whom will be able to provide you with ongoing training, to help develop your skills.
There are a high volume of invoices, so the ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role and be able to pick up the systems and processes quickly.

Key tasks will include but are not limited to the following:
• Gathering all relevant information for raising of Invoices/Statements
• Creating invoices
• Creating Statements
• Purchase ledger
• Paying Suppliers
• Matching PO’s with quotes
• Use of Sage
• Checking and processing incoming monies
• Credit control
• Other administrative and finance duties as and when required by the Office Manager
• Filing
• Other Ad Hoc Duties

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
• Successful candidates will have at least 12 months experience in an accounts role.
• You must possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
• You must be highly computer literate, especially with Sage 50 and Excel.
• You must be capable of multi-tasking reliably in a busy office environment.
• Have experience of Sage 50.
• Show high levels of client confidentiality.
• Have previous experience in a high volume invoice processing department.
• Be able to manage all aspects of accounts/credit control as part of a team.
• Have the desire to learn and develop your skills - this role does provide ongoing training as the department grows.
• Ideally be immediately available and able to hit the ground running.
• You will need to have the relevant experience, however if some training is required this will be offered.
