We are recruiting for a Lathe Programmer, Setter Operator in the Birmingham area. Our Client is a well-established Company.

As a Lathe Programmer, Setter Operator you will need to have/be:

* A precision engineering background
* A skilled CNC lathe programmer/setter/operator
* Experience with Fanuc controls
* Fully conversant with offline programming
* Ability to read engineering drawings

Details:

* Salary: Negotiable
* Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 7.00am-4.00pm, Friday 7.00am-1.00pm
* Location: Birmingham
* Duration: Permanent

Role of a Lathe Programmer, Setter Operator:

* Day to day running of the section
* Meeting daily production targets of mainly small batch quantities to exacting quality standards
* Ordering and stock control of raw materials and tooling
* Trouble shooting and machine setting/ operating when required
