What’s the Job?

You’ll be joining a small technical team and your time will be split between customer sites and the manufacturing centre, there will be a requirement for the occasional overnight stay (approximately 4 per month); duties will include:

Checking Flowmeter accuracy verification and calibration using a range of technologies including PD, Turbine, Electromagnetic, Coriolis and Vortex
Use of wet test methods and electronic verification
Meter repair
Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues
Setup and commissioning of equipment, including configuration
Carrying out customer training
Accurate recording and timely completion of documentation, reports and results

What do you need?

You’ll already be working within Flowmeter industry and have proven ability to problem solve, you’ll also need:

Extensive experience of instrument repair and calibration in the field
An understanding of flow
Experience of working on customer sites, including hazardous areas
A good, basic understanding of physics
An understanding of basic electronics (the ability to follow a circuit diagram)
The ability to work as part of a close knit team
Confident IT skills
The ability to self-manage / motivate

An excellent salary is on offer for this role, benefits include Pension; PC / Mobile; use of company van, the opportunity for UK travel and job variety, hours of work are 40 per week and holidays are 28 per year (including Bank Holidays).
