Mechanical Maintenance Fitter
Based in Coalville

My client is one of the largest manufacturers of precast concrete within the UK, enjoying a solid reputation for quality and value, and prime market positon. This well-known and respected company can manage projects from conception to completion. Specialising in heavy building materials to the construction industry and boasting its own Quarry, Surfacing, Mixing and Pre-casting facilities, this company currently enjoy a solid pipeline of work, guaranteeing a high volume of workload for years to come. What the role will involve:
* Attending Breakdowns
* Completing PMI’s (PPM’s)
* Stripping, fitting or changing mechanical components on the machinery
* Greasing and oiling machinery
* Fault finding – Looking for visible faults, breaks or leaks
* Working mainly on Hydraulics
* Also working on various equipment such as mixers, silos, pumps, rams, valves, screeders, augers and shafts
Skills and Qualifications:
* Mechanical Fitting and Maintenance on Hydraulics
* Worked within Heavy Industry etc
* Good understanding of Bearings, Shafts, Mixers, Pumps etc
Desirable:
* FLT License
* Experience of overhead crane operation
Salary and Hours:
* £24,000 + Overtime, Weekly Bonus, Pension, Holiday Pay and 6 monthly salary reviews
* Plenty of overtime available
* 3-week shift Rotation
* Week 1: 06.00 – 02.00 Monday to Friday
* Week 2: 14.00 – 22.00 Monday to Friday
* Week 3: 21.00 – 07.00 Monday to Thursday
