We are working in partnership with a client that provides technical expertise and commercial insight to deliver asset and infrastructure projects. They are a multidiscipline engineering consultancy that are technical specialists to support every point of a project's lifecycle for their clients.

An exciting and career defining opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Associate Director to join our clients’ Highways business, based in their new Cambridge office.

Specifically, they are looking for an individual with excellent knowledge and experience of the NEC 3 suite of contracts and the role of Project Manager to support a large and continually growing portfolio of commissions.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Initially, you will undertake the role of Project Manager on a range of construction projects currently being undertaken in the greater Cambridge area.
Your expertise in managing these complex and challenging contracts will assist in providing an excellent level of service to their local authority clients, providing full support during the construction phase of the projects as well as buildability and procurement advice in advance of the construction phase.
You will support our clients ‘existing team in Cambridge, delivering technical excellence, managing projects through to financial close and assisting with the growth of the Cambridge office.

Person Specification:
The successful candidate will have a wealth of experience within the highways and infrastructure design and/ or construction sectors, as well as the seniority and gravitas to successfully manage complex and challenging projects.

Ideally a Chartered Engineer, you will be an accredited NEC 3 Project Manager with an extensive knowledge and experience of the NEC3 suite of contracts and, in particular, the role of Project Manager within that contract.

You will be passionate about delivering the best possible outcomes for clients, working collaboratively with both client and contractor and steering challenging projects through to a mutually successful conclusion.
