IT Helpdesk Analyst – Fluent Spanish Speaker

We are seeking an IT Helpdesk Analyst – Fluent Spanish Speaker with experience the below requirements. The initial contract runs until the end of May but is expected to roll on much longer. You will be working for a prestigious media organisation based in London.

£17 per hour


The role is responsible for providing support and change to all international business units. The Service Desk is made up of eight Analysts, a Team Lead and a Manager and provides support to over 4000 internal employees.

Key Responsibilities

This key role is responsible for providing a high standard of 1st line support and should ensure that great customer satisfaction and an excellent overall customer experience is delivered.

* Ensure all incidents and service request are recorded, monitored and resolved in a timely, efficient manor
* Represent the Service Desk in client operational contact; via quick response to requests, triage all client escalations, listen for concerns and communicate issues to management
* Report to Service Desk Team Lead on any issue that could significantly impact the business

Other Responsibilities

* Dispatching incident and service request tickets to relevant teams when unable to resolve at 1st line while keeping the customer informed
* Translate technical information into language the customer understands
* Escalating problems to the appropriate teams at agreed escalation points as defined in the incident management process
* Work to make Service Desk the single source of truth and service delivery channel for IT
* Monitor the Service Desk mailbox and proactively gather workload
* Ensure the Knowledge Management repository is up to date and top quality solutions are available to the staff
* Advise management on situations that may require additional client support or escalation

Essential Skills and Experience

* Fluent Spanish speaker
* Commercial experience supporting large user bases
* Experience supporting W7 and Mac OSX environments
* Remote Desktop Support
* Mobile Device support
* Experience using ITSM systems (ServiceNow – Desirable)
* Active Directory
* Corporate Messaging – Outlook/Exchange
* Networking (TCP/IP – DHCP – DNS – VPN)
* File Backup/Restore
* Drive Encryption
