An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Analyst to join a fast-paced international group of companies, dedicated to the provision of high-end catering services to Formula 1, Private Jet Aviation, Retail and High-end Domestic & International Events.

Reporting to the Management Accountant, our client has a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join their growing FP&A Team during an exciting period of growth. This role will be responsible for the financial management and reporting of their aviation side of the business, assisting with the Events & Performance Sports businesses.

Core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Aviation Business

Ensuring accurate month end accounts for the business are prepared in line with the deadlines, as set by the Head of FP&A
Owning cost centre P&L’s within the business as required
Attending monthly financial review meetings with Department Heads and/or General Managers of the business
Review of month-end accounts and prepare accruals as appropriate for the business

Events & Performance Sports

Assisting the Management Accountant for Events & Performance Sports produce Long Range Plans, Annual Budgets and both quarterly and monthly Forecasts
Assisting with the month-end accounts by, but not limited to, preparing accruals, temporary payroll cost reallocation and general adjustments as requested by the Management Accountant for Events and Performance Sports

General Duties

Preparing financial information for the FP&A team and Group Finance Director
Assisting in the implementation of ‘best practice’ processes and developing a culture of robust financial control
Supporting the implementation of new processes and reporting
Supporting the FP&A team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Current studier/finalist (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE with a minimum of 3 years commercial experience within an events, hospitality or catering environment
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferable (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables as a minimum)
Analytical and inquisitive mind
Ability to multitask and time-manage effectively
Previous experience in an analytical role advantageous but not essential
Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Sage X3 and SEI desirable
