Our client is an Accountancy Practice based in Letchworth, who are currently recruiting for a professional, ACA/ACCA qualified manager with a minimum of three years post qualification experience to work alongside the current Practice partners.

Job description

· To advise clients & provide financial information

· Analysing risks & Reviewing systems

· Preparation of statutory accounts

· Prepare Personal tax returns

· Prepare Company tax returns

· Cashflow preparation

· Management accounts

· Manage a portfolio, including management of billing & work in progress

· To hold client meetings to cover accounts, tax position & advise on strategic plans

· Build client relationships

· Grow revenue from existing clients

· For business development & marketing you will be expected to attend networking events, write blogs & advertorials, & pitch to potential clients

· Train and mentor staff, and management of junior colleagues

· To make sure that work is planned & adequate staff are available

Skills required

· ACA/ACCA qualified

· To have ability to work quickly, yet accurately with an eye for detail

· An ability to work to deadlines

· Good computer skills

· Knowledge of leading accounting, tax software, book keeping packages

· Clear communication skills, and to be able to communicate at all levels

· Strong leadership skills
