Revenue Assistant required for our client, a Top 30, UK Law Firm, with an ever expanding Revenue team, offering training as well as career progression.

Over the last 3 years, the firm has continued to grow due to several successes therefore, the number of bills being processed has increased rapidly, in turn, creating lots of new and exciting opportunities.

This role will be split across Billing and Credit Control and would suit someone looking for their first or next step into the legal industry however you must have some previous billing and / or credit control experience from a professional organisation.

Key skills include:

* Previous experience within Billing and Credit Control is essential, ideally within the legal sector / professional services
* Previous experience of using Elite / ARCS collection system would be beneficial
* Strong communication skills in order to be able to effectively liaise with Partner & Fee Earners
* The successful candidate will be of A-Level standard or equivalent with an eagerness to learn and expand their experience.
* They must be able to demonstrate high levels of drive, determination and focus.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the processing and early stage debt collection of invoices for specific practice areas.

* The judicious conversion of work in progress (WIP) to an accurate invoice;
* Securing the timely payment of invoices;
* The resolution and escalation of queries

Specifics of the role:

* Process and send out to clients a high number of invoices each month according to established procedures;
* Ensure that the debt collection of invoices less than sixty days is undertaken in accordance with the Credit Control procedure;
* Ensure that queries raised by a client are resolved in the appropriate time frame and passed to the Revenue Controller for escalation;
* Attentively ensure that all relevant information relating to unpaid invoices is recorded on the ARCS system to be fed back to partners and fee-earners;
* Provide the necessary support to Revenue Controllers;
* Keep the Revenue Manager informed of all issues and concerns.
