The Company:
An excellent opportunity for a Brand Marketing Merchandiser to join an established business offering fashion forward luxury and contemporary knitwear, specialising in ladieswear with mens and childrenswear in development. This is a new role and would suit a professional and motivated self starter with previous wholesale experience.

The Role:
Execute and assist with devising a biannual marketing strategy which will deliver sales and profit growth and increase market share which involves working closely with the Wholesale Relationship Manager to create and deliver pre-show mail outs to customers and targets, trade show promotions and preparation of tradeshow stand layouts.
Marketing management of direct to consumer website and social media (Facebook, Instagram etc).
Management focus for any key retailer marketing campaigns.
Liaising with key stakeholders to identify a budget for biannual marketing strategy.
Primary responsibility for strategy on budget delivery
Reviewing marketing campaigns to maximise future results implementing changes where required.
Obtaining seasonal product photography and providing photography bespoke to customers orders.
Analysing market, consumer and competitive information to assist with new product pricing.
Conducting yearly pricing reviews for product ranges, ensuring correct price positioning and sales volumes to achieve margins.
Developing long term strategies to ensure product ranges are competitive and meet customer and market requirements including long-term business objectives.
Ensuring all new collection launches support the brand strategy, values, positioning and achieve the business goals.
Working with key stakeholders to identify a budget for the branding strategy analyse and prepare reports to key stakeholders highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of the current brand.
Implementing any branding adjustments.
Annual assessment and reporting of the brand identity.
Monitoring of the logo, labelling, delivery and packaging imaging, points of sale for use by retailers.
Exploring other promotional opportunities including additional trade shows, charity sponsorship, fashion shows, sponsor celebrities to increase brand exposure.
Supporting the sales team with customer visits and attendance at customer events and exhibitions.
Ensuring marketing communications are delivered to time scales, budget and are of the highest standard.
Carrying out ongoing research for further brand development.

Skills Required:
Minimum of 3 years experience gained within marketing and branding.
Educated to degree level with a minimum 2.1 Degree in Marketing or other related subject or equivalent.
Understanding of the wholesale fashion industry (preferably knitwear).
Attentive to detail with the ability to think creatively and be naturally trend driven
Ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines keeping in mind budgets and timings.
Creative with a strong conceptual imagination.
Highly motivated with the initiative to work independently including identifying new opportunities,
Confident in analysing data and drawing conclusions, organised and methodical.
Proven ability to critically assess own performance and be aware of budgets and timings.
IT literate with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Understanding of profit and loss calculations and basic business finance, e.g. gross margin percentages and calculations.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Team player, able to build relationships and stay calm and positive during busy periods to achieve deadlines.
Energetic, fun and flexible approach to work and the team.
