Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our international and global client for a successful business development manager. The role is to cover London and The Home Counties

Business Development Manager's coming from a filtration, facility management or clean room environment are encouraged to apply.

Job Purpose;

This position is responsible for the development and the successful execution of short and long term strategic growth plans; effective execution of sales plans; development of the day-to-day sales in the core segments; and further development of the combined business.

Overall Responsibilities;

•Meet sales results by achieving the expected revenue and targets.
•Identifying market potential and qualifying accounts, in the form of a strategic account plan / account year plan.
•Collaborates with the company’s (in)direct network, colleagues and outside resources in the development of sales tools and strategic selling strategies designed to enhance, repeat, and grow the customer experience.
•Initiates the sales process by scheduling appointments with clients through (cold) acquisition, giving presentations and taking into account the demands and wishes of the customer not losing the commercial interest in this.
•Responsible for effective development and execution of the sales plans, achievement of sales targets as well as applicable market monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
•Increase the revenue of existing accounts, belonging to this position, with improved or new products and services, to spot market opportunities and to develop it into commercial products.
•Resource for routine technical support and application support questions from sales support team and advising direct and indirect resources on the product portfolio.

Knowledge and Experience;

•Experienced in developing indirect and direct channels in a mature market.
•Desire experience in selling and supporting a value added product portfolio. Experience in clean room filtration sales/applications are a plus.
•Successful experience with high value added product selling, pricing, negotiating, and channel management. Experienced in making a transition from a product sale to a solution sale.
•Experience of dealing with multi-national customers.
•Ability to manage and service accounts over a broad and diverse geographical area.
•A master at diplomacy and has excellent listening skills, yet without lacking in drive to move things forward.
•Team player with functional knowledge.
