Zachary Daniels are recruiting for a Business Development Manager for a leading furniture retailer to support & deliver the relaunch of the brand in the UK market.

Key responsibilties will include:

* Plan and prioritise customer contact to achieve agreed sales and profit objectives.

* Manage stockist policy, product mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims.

* Maintain a record of stockist and current floor stock within the area to assist in market development.

* Maintain and develop existing and new customers by optimising quality of service and customer satisfaction.

* Develop a customer training programme to ensure that retailers have a sound knowledge of our products, quality and brand message.

* Attend exhibitions to maintain customer relationships, ensure a cross market attendance of key customers and aid business development.

* Plan, carry out and support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organised marketing activities, e.g model launches, advertising, customer visits and exhibitions.

* Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.

* Monitor and report on market and sales activities and provide relevant feedback and information.

* Manage any other projects or activities, as required, to meet the requirements of the Sales and Marketing strategy.

Points above are key areas but role is not limited to these, the business may call upon you to support elsewhere when appropriate with the relevant training.

To succeed in this role you will be a self-motivated, positive, team player with the drive to deliver results and best in class customer service whilst demonstrating the ability to inspire and deliver on every level.

Experience of the quality furnishings sector is a must.
