The Digital Content Executive will be responsible for creating new content for publication and promotion on Huntswood’s owned, earned and paid digital channels.
This includes the company website, social media platforms, PPC, PR, and marketing mailers.


* Under the direction of the Inbound and Content Marketing Manager, create, edit, and repurpose content for Huntswood’s digital channels. Formats include: blogs, infographics, rich media, and gated content (white papers, mini-papers, timelines, reports)
* Collaborate closely with internal subject matter experts to devise content angles. Write and deliver digital, SEO-optimised content - and to required deadlines – with topics closely aligned to business strategic priorities and services
* Work closely with key members of the digital marketing team to enhance and optimise content delivery
* Proactively keep up-to-date with financial services and utilities industry-focused news and developments as part of BAU / research
* Effectively manage the central content planner week-to-week, attend the monthly content planning meeting to extract and sense-check ideas from internal SMEs, and keep relevant stakeholders up to date on content progress
* Manage content on Huntswood’s social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
* To proactively stay up to date with current digital content practices and related tech
* Effectively provide cover for the other Digital Content Executive, as needed


* Experience writing within (or for) the financial services industry, or another regulated industry
* Excellent attention to detail when it comes to editing and proofing
* Educated to degree standard, preferably in a related field (e.g. English, Journalism, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications)
* The ability to research around topics (which may include statistics and technical data) and devise content angles
* Strong working knowledge of MS Office package
* Strong and up-to-date knowledge of SEO practices
* Ability to write concise and thorough copy, adhering to Huntswood’s tone of voice guidelines
* Ability to deliver to high quality under time pressure and prioritise own workload
* Experience writing, editing and publishing blogs
* Good people skills and ability to work well with people at all levels of the organisation
* Ability to flex tone and appropriately adapt copy, depending on the end medium
* Superior knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and proofreading symbols


* General proficiency with digital technology products, including content management systems and web-based tools such as Hubspot
* Considerable experience working with social media platforms
