iRecruit Partners are currently working with a leading financial services company based in Bracknell who are looking for an Internal Business Development Manager to join their rapidly expanding team. The purpose of the role is to effectively manage the relationships in your allocated region working closely with your Regional Account Manager through telephone based business development, communicating the product proposition and strengths of the company, ensuring optimum service levels are maintained at all times.


Develop business relationships and manage these in a professional and prompt manner
Maximise the full potential of your accounts to increase business levels aligned to company strategies
Building company presence in the broker market place by telephone within a specified region in line with company strategies
Work in conjunction with your Regional Account Manager to maximise growth within your geographical area ensuring you have an agreed strategy in place to meet business objectives and sales target
Proactively manage your region through outbound calling in line with company sales process
Proactively identify firms/brokers with potential to submit a high volume of business and refer to your Regional Account Manager for a face to face visit
Manage and develop existing and new relationships to maximise business levels to the quality required
Maintain accurate records of all interactions with brokers
Ensure all new call lists for new distribution/call backs are completed within agreed timescales
Feedback key market intelligence and recommend areas for improvement, where appropriate
Understand and deliver the brand values of Foundation Home Loans being an ambassador for the business
Become an expert on our proposition, understanding where our strengths lie and ensuring our distribution
are aware of our strengths at all times
Develop and maintain an excellent relationships with all internal stakeholders
Provide professional guidance within area of expertise to support the business
Understand the impact and implications of personal and professional action across the business to optimize contribution
Plan and organise own workload to ensure personal and team objectives and deadlines are met
Think outside the box with a level of commerciality
Take responsibility for personal development, identifying and pursuing opportunities where appropriate to maintain and develop expertise. Ensuring continual personal and functional credibility within the business
Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of own area of expertise and understand wider implications and opportunities for the business making recommendations where appropriate
Contribute towards functional strategy development, planning and implementation process to provide input from a professional viewpoint


Previous/existing knowledge within the Buy to Let and residential mortgage industry
Strong understanding of mortgage industry and regulations
Previous experience of telephone based business development in the mortgage industry
Excellent communication and relationships management skills
Confident and professional at pitching product propositions to mortgage introducers
Strong personality but able to show diplomacy and empathy where necessary
Self-motivated and enthusiastic with drive to succeed and deliver results
Excellent telephone manner
Maintain a good knowledge of TCF undertaking regular TCF training as required
Ensure compliance with the FCA Mortgage Codes of Business, Data Protection and Money Laundering Legislation
Time management skills
Experience of working within Financial Services environment (Desirable)
Telesales (Desirable)
MCD or CeMAP qualified (Desirable)
