Our Client is a high-technology company that integrates safer, greener and more connected solutions for the Automotive sector they currently require a:-

Quality Technician
Working with internal and external stakeholders to identify were improvements to product performance can be made.

To assist in the development of quality assurance methods for both product and process improvements. Identify non-conformance and deficiencies using problem analysis methodologies with key responsibility for implementation of corrective / preventative action(s).

The 4 key aspects of the role are:-
Co-coordinating and communicating issues between commercial, operations and suppliers
Work with QA and supplier base to improve management of containment with the objective of eliminating containment and drive continuous improvements
Investigate the mismatch between parts entering the business and machine quality during build process at COMPANY and the perception of customer satisfaction upon delivery
Review and inspection of parts entering the business and use of CMM where necessary

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Quality Engineer and Quality and Supplier Performance Manager in achieving quality improvements
Assist in producing and maintaining QHSE documentation
Produce documentation for projects to ensure compliance to specification (e.g. Quality plans and ISIRs)
Ensure that the calibration procedures for test and inspection equipment required as part of the Quality Assurance System are within calibration and are adhered to
Review of ISIR documents to ensure part conformance and sample checks to be conducted using inspection equipment
Assist in evaluating non-conformances, recommend solutions including corrective action and future preventative action
Report all results & findings
Liaise with suppliers on non-conforming product and return parts to supplier as required
Manage the supplier SQA data log, ensuring all information is recorded with respect to non-conforming product
Conduct monthly reviews of supplier non-conformances and generate report

Essential requirements:
Minimum of ONC qualified in Engineering or 3 years' experience within an automotive, aerospace or other high precision environment.
3 years' experience within a quality position
Must have the ability to read drawings
CMM experience
Methodical and maintain attention to detail.
Good communication / interpersonal skills.
PC Literate (Microsoft office).
