IT Support Manager – North London - Permanent
Up to £35,000 + benefits * URGENT *

Our client, a large independent school in North London, are currently looking for an IT Support Manager to join their team. This is a new position which has been created to ensure effective delivery of IT and AV support throughout the school.

You will be responsible for the line management of 3 ICT Technicians and their professional development, introduction of tools and techniques for handling support tickets, preemptive actions, maintaining documentation covering support methods and solutions, providing support to the Head of IT in developing systems and services, as well as providing hands on IT support on a daily basis.

The postholder will need to be able to communicate effectively both written and verbally, as there will be some overlap with the Infrastructure Manager with whom you will be working with closely.

• Previously worked within a relevant, senior IT position (pref within the Education Sector)
• Experience managing IT staff and providing professional development
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
• Ability to take ownership of service delivery

Technical Skills
• Microsoft Windows in a networked environment
• Microsoft Office
• Mobile Devices
• Remote Support Software
• Desktop Printers
• Familiarity with Windows network and server administration
