Vacancy: Mechanical Maintenance Fitter/Engineer – Mon-Fri DAYS ONLY

Overview:

With manufacturing sites located across the UK and Europe we now require an additional Mechanical Maintenance Fitter/Engineer to join the team.

With a wealth of Overtime available we can offer an excellent earning potential for the desired engineer!

The basics:

Shift: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Pay: £25,000 base + OT = £35,000 and upwards

Overtime paid at: £18.80 Mon-Sat and Sundays = £25.06 – readily available!

Location: Heanor

Essential Skills required:

* Previous experience within a manufacturing/industrial environment as a maintenance fitter/engineer,

Key responsibilities of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/Fitter:

To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.

Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns

PPM’s

The ideal Mechanical Maintenance Fitter/Engineer will have as many of the following in order to strengthen application:

* Time served apprenticeship
* Strong mechanical background
* Knowledge and understanding of Gear Boxes, Motors, Taper locks, Conveyors
* Educated in a relevant engineering discipline - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etc.
* Any welding or machining experience advantageous
