Exciting opportunity to work for an International Wildlife Charity who are looking to expand their team with an Enterprise Manager who will implement and deliver their corporate strategy. This role demands an innovative, growth-focused corporate business approach, to develop new and profitable corporate partnerships. This covers all aspects of corporate-based income including marketing partnerships and licensing, sponsorships, event partnerships, charity of the year, affiliate marketing and project sponsorships.

The role will fit within a coordinated approach to all aspects of their commercial and income-generating activities, implemented through the overall Enterprise and Partnerships Strategy, designed to increase income for the charity. Reporting directly to the Head of Enterprise & Partnerships you will work in close collaboration with the Events Manager, Grants and Major Donor Manager and Grants Officer. The role will also necessitate close communication with the Marketing Team and Project/Associate Directors.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

- Delivering the corporate development strategy, designed to increase income and to maximise reciprocated value to both the charity and the partnership
- Proactively target and communicate with new corporate partners
- Understand corporate objectives such that partnership proposals are adapted on a bespoke basis to meet the business objectives of both the charity and the potential corporate partner
- To achieve an agreed income target through the development of a portfolio of new corporate and commercial partners and the active management of existing corporate partners

Suitable candidates will need to demonstrate the following skills/experience:

- Proven ability for driving corporate income to achieve agreed financial targets
- Ability to build strong external relationships to drive corporate income generation
- Ability to undertake market research and analysis and produce business cases (including all associated costs and forecasted revenue for the business), to ensure that all business development opportunities (new products, services and markets) are optimised
- Excellent and proven negotiating and influencing skills
- Ability to influence at Board level, both internally and externally
- Ability to prioritise, demonstrating excellent commercial acumen and time management
- Proficiency with Microsoft computer packages, and an ability to work with and interrogate databases and spreadsheets
- Degree level qualification preferred but not essential
- Whilst previous experience of working for a charity organisation is advantageous, it is not essential.
